Raiffeisen Bank International AG (RBI) has been named ‘Bank of the Year’ in Central and Eastern Europe (CEE) by the global banking industry publication ‘The Banker’.

It is the fourth time this year that RBI, which is the investment adviser for Cornhill’s WIOF Conservative 3% Fund and WIOF Emerging Europe Performance Fund, has been named ‘Bank of the Year’ in the region after taking awards from ‘Global Finance’ magazine, ‘EMEA Finance’ and ‘Euromoney’.

It is also the sixth time that RBI has won the ‘Bank of the Year’ in CEE award from ‘The Banker’.

“The fact that we won the Grand Slam, meaning all four important awards, confirms our leading role in CEE and our sustainable success.

“We consider these awards as not only an acknowledgment of our recent work but also as an incentive for further excellence,” said Herbert Stepic, Chairman of RBI's Managing Board.
