CIMB-Principal Asset Management (CIMB-Principal) – investment advisor for Cornhill’s WIOF South-East Asia Performance Fund – has taken the coveted best overall group award at The Edge-Thomson Reuters Lipper Malaysia Awards 2016.


Speaking after an awards ceremony this week in Kuala Lumpur, CIMB-Principal Asset Management chief executive officer (CEO) Munirah Khairuddin said the win underlined the company’s consistent performance.


Khairuddin said: “I think this award comes at a good time because investors are nervous. The awards show that we can perform consistently over the years, and we are here to stay.”


She added: “I am confident about winning the group award next year with my team.”
